Happy December Solver users! This release includes several bug fixes and access for all users to QuickStart for the Hubspot and Salesforce connectors. We are also announcing that the Microsoft CRM connector now has QuickStart abilities. We hope that you have had a great year with Solver and cannot wait to bring you more features in 2024!
New Features and Enhancements
Reporting
- Added the Report Template Audit feature.
- When publishing a report, users will now have the ability to leave a note about the changes made in the updated published version of the template.
- To access these notes,
- From the Report Templates screen, click on the name of a report to open it.
- Click on the information button at the top right corner of the page to open the information menu and see the notes.
- From the Report Templates screen, click on the name of a report to open it.
- This feature works for Report and Input templates but only users with the Report Designer license will be able to see previous comments.
- Users with access to the template will have the option to log a note before publishing a template but must complete the form even if it is left blank. Notes are not required.
- Report Designer users with access to the template will be able to see a history of any previous changes along with information such as:
- The user who edited the template
- Previous notes
- The date the template was updated on
- To access these notes,
- When publishing a report, users will now have the ability to leave a note about the changes made in the updated published version of the template.
- Added the option to hide blank columns in a report when using drill down. This can only be changed by contacting Solver Support.
Data Warehouse
- Made UI updates to HubSpot QS Wizard.
- QuickStart for D365 CRM, Salesforce, and Hubspot connectors is now available to all users.

- Oauth is now supported for Salesforce and D365 CRM connectors.
- New integrations will use Oauth as their authentication method.
- Users can now authenticate integrations with a simplified Oauth process.
- This can be done by:
- Selecting a manual integration from either of these connectors and pressing the edit button.
- Then navigate back to the connector authentication screen, select the Authentication Type dropdown menu, and choose Oauth.

Administration
- Improved the Danish translations across the application
Bug Fixes
Reporting
- Account dimension cache refresh lowered from 5 minutes to 1 minute.
- The Entity dimension is now also cached which will improve performance for reports that are filtered by Entity.
Data Warehouse
- Fixes an issue where new or removed dimension attributes were not being displayed properly on a dimension’s saved view.
- Fixes an issue in Task Mapping where some buttons were being hidden by tooltips and unable to be selected.
- Fixes an issue where some users were unable to select the trash can when attempting to discard a field on the task filtering menu when creating a manual integration.
- Fixes an issue with the loading icon being incorrectly displayed when running a Job or Business Rule.
- Fixes an issue where Salesforce QuickStart jobs would require reauthentication if set to recurring.
- Fixes an issue where Sage Intacct dimension tables that contained a space were not available in Solver integrations.
Administration
- Fixes an issue where administrators were unable to remove a user from a role.
