Greetings Solver users. This month’s cloud update contains some glorious bug fixes to improve your experience while using Solver as well as a few new features and enhancements to keep things looking and feeling fresh for you.
We would like to remind you that there are some important changes coming soon that will affect most users. These include:
- A mandatory update to your Report Designer.
- This update must take place as soon as possible. Beginning on March 13th, if your Report Designer is not v5.2.61218 or newer, you will be unable to use Report Designer in any way including running reports or editing templates. Contact your company’s IT professional to complete this upgrade. There will be more updates to the Solver portal in this and upcoming releases that will require users to have the latest Report Designer version.
- Administrators will receive a notification in their portal to complete this upgrade.
- A D365 Business Central extension update (v2.4.4.0).
- An update to the QuickBooks Online connector.
- We will be ending support for the MYOB and EzVet connectors by March 23rd, 2024.

- A mandatory Google Analytics update.
- There will be a mandatory update coming this summer for the Google Analytics connector. The Solver team will be in contact with you soon if you qualify for this update.
New Features and Enhancements
Reporting
- Added the ability for users to filter by default settings in the Solver Template Marketplace.
Data Warehouse
- Updated status icons across the Data Warehouse including for Integrations, Rules, Jobs, and Event Log pages.
- Updated the phrasing on the Dimension Mapping QuickStart step to be more clear about the options that users have including the user’s ability to create new dimensions by typing in a name.
- Updated v1.0 and v1.1 of the Solver Data API to now include:
- MemberID, UpdatedOn, and CreatedOn.
- Updated the QuickBooks online connector to support an API response change from Intuit that takes effect on March 1, 2024.
Administration
- Updated general translations across the application including extensive updates for the following languages:
- Portuguese
- Italian
- Danish
- Added a notification to alert users to this month’s Mandatory Report Designer Update.
Bug Fixes
Reporting
- Fixes an issue with Microsoft Dynamics SL reporting where users were unable to use the period lookup feature.
- Fixes an issue where multiple report parameters were missing on the parameter history pane on the left side of the Reporting menu while editing a report template. Report Designer update required for fix.
- Fixes an issue where a checkbox parameter was not displaying properly if users were also using a tree parameter in a report.
Data Warehouse
- Fixes minor issues with the Acumatica connector.
- Fixes an issue where the settings icon was not visible when using the File Import connector.
- Fixes an issue where the Solver Data API was returning an inaccurate response when querying for dimension schema.
Administration
- Updated error messages for invalid filters when running the User Export Report.
