This article includes instructions for installing Generic Inquiries to your Acumatica installation with screen shots of how to do so.
The steps below must be done when no one else is using Acumatica. It takes a few minutes to complete but will log users out of Acumatica.
Once you have downloaded and unzipped its content, do not unzip the file labeled [Solver…]
- Log into Acumatica as an Admin or someone who can access the customizations screen
- Click More Items > Customizations
- Click Customization Projects
- Any customized project created will appear. Click Import.
- Click Choose File, navigate to the file, and Choose Upload.
- Once uploaded, it will appear on the screen as an unpublished project. Select the Project by clicking the blank box and click Publish.
- A popup will appear confirming publishing the customization, click Publish.
If you have multiple tenants that you plan on loading into Solver, click the dropdown and choose
Publish to Multiple Tenants.
Note: make sure users are not using Acumatica at this time
- You will get a successful notification if the inquiries are imported.
- Click the X in the upper right-hand corner and close the popup.
You have successfully installed the Solver Generic Inquiries.
