Zendesk Connector

Overview

This connector brings the Zendesk help management system data into your Solver Data Warehouse expanding the business reporting capabilities beyond your ERP data. 

The connector expands how users report on their Zendesk data by allowing for endlessly customizable reporting within the Solver application. Easily build data integrations to populate your data warehouse to complement and present Zendesk data to make informed business decisions based on ticket data, knowledge-based article usage, success stats, and more.

  • Authenticate
  • Build a manual integration
  • Run a job to bring in the data to the Data Warehouse
  • Create reports

Authentication

To use this connector, users must log in to their Zendesk account and integrate this account with their Solver. While there are several ways to do so, currently, this version of the connector only supports the use of an API token to authenticate the user’s login attempt. Logging into Zendesk when building a new integration requires:

  1. An API token
  2. The email address associated with the user’s actively licensed Zendesk account
  3. The Base Zendesk URL to access the account
