We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you all that Ascend, our user conference, is coming up on your calendars in a few months. This conference is a great opportunity for users to come together to learn and meet with our top representatives about their favorite reporting and planning product. Learn more at the official Ascend website. We hope to see you there!

New Features and Enhancements

Reporting

  • Ad Hoc Reporting’s default filter (`*, NULL`) will now be displayed when all values are selected.

Data Warehouse

  • Improved error messages when attempting to delete a dimension code that has dependencies. These error messages will include the specific modules and tree tables that would be affected.

Bug Fixes

Planning

  • Fixes an issue where Input Flow was not taking the provided syntax into consideration.
    • The ‘Delete transactions if cell value is 0’ and ‘delete transaction for empty cell’ syntax now works properly if a user has configured the necessary settings for the input template. Previously, the cells where a Monthly Amount was 0, were not being deleted when running the Input Flow.
    • To do this, select the following settings in Report Designer:
      • Delete transaction if cell value is 0.
      • Store unchanged cells.
      • Do not use the ignore flag.

Data Warehouse

  • Fixes an issue where the Category Mapper in QuickStart was not removing special characters with Stargate codes when creating duplicate values.
    • Error message code: ‘Subquery returned more than 1 result’.
  • Fixes an issue where some users were experiencing slow loading speeds when working with large dimension lists. Improvements have now been made for large dimensions to load more efficiently.
  • Fixes an issue where Ad Hoc Reporting was not displaying the error banner correctly.
  • Fixes an issue where Publisher parameters were uneven on the page. These have been fixed to align better.
