Welcome back Solver Users! We have a big update for you this month that includes some great features including Planning Security, Stargate Mapper, and a brand-new connector for HubSpot users! This update also includes some user interface enhancements across the application that allow for a more balanced and consistent viewing experience for our users.
New Features and Enhancements
Planning
- Added the ability for administrators to lock budgets and other scenarios once they are finalized.
- Data updates are still available via the Data Warehouse using Business Rules and Integrations.
- These settings are set to the open status by default but can be changed at any point using the new Planning Security tab under Settings.
- When editing the security settings, periods must be entered in:
- single period: YYYYMM
- list of multiple periods: YYYYMM,YYYYMM,….,YYYYMM
- range of periods: YYYYMM:YYYYMM

Data Warehouse
- Added a Business Rule that allows users to remove duplicate transactions in the event of a reclassification or change in dimensions. This is useful when using Delta Loads.
- Added the QuickStart enabled HubSpot connector to the Solver Connector Marketplace. For more information on this connector, please see this article.
- Added a Stargate Mapper to the Data Warehouse when editing the Stargate Dimension.
- We have added a new mapping tab to be used when editing the Stargate dimension. This mapping experience matches the experience of mapping account categories when creating a QuickStart integration using the Wizard.
- When completing this mapping exercise, users will be able to drag and drop account categories into their folders.
Administration
- Made updates to bring consistency to fonts, icons, colors, and typography across the application.
Bug Fixes
Reporting
- Fixes an issue where sheet-per-value names were reverting to generic names once templates were added to a report package.
- The template name is now removed from sheets when placed into a report package. Duplicate sheet names will now contain a number at the end for uniqueness.
- Fixes an issue where users were able to remove items from a Category they did not own.
Data Warehouse
- Fixes an issue where the textbox for Integration Names was not displaying the complete text for longer integration names.
- Fixes an issue where the list of modules in the QuickStart wizard was not in the correct order.
Administration
- Security enhancements have been made to the Solver API.
